Following situation: Started equally the Vlach count 867, became duke of Wallachia, so revoke war against Bulgaria before the Slavic Magyars invade, so that I'm a completely penniless count now. I encounter a lowborn courtier with no relatives and over 400 aureate who could solve all my pecuniar problems and plot confronting him, but nobody joins the plot. So I think I'll but imprison+execute him, nobody cares anyhow.

100% imprisonment risk.

He still manages to escape. Sometimes I feel like the game but wants to make me give upward.

Another fourth dimension, I had thirty state intrigue as Emperor and wanted to imprison the rex of France, 18 state intrigue. 1%, also with my 21 martial align on arrest camped on his location. Cheated to give me 100 intrigue, merely to run across what would happen, but still 1%. The viceroy of Wales I used as comparison had realistical imprisonment chance.

Tin anyone lift the fog on what seems to me like totally arbitrary numbers without any meaning at present? In before patches, I had never encountered this problem. Mayhap I should also file a bug report.

What gets me is that unless he did something treasonous after you put him in prison you tin't revoke more than ane title or yous take a faction hitting. Hell, he started a state of war with me afterwards I said give me back MY land in the first place. Why should I take a penalty for taking back my own land. I could understand it if he was like an independent faction and I vassalized him and and then tried to revoke his titles. That makes sense, simply, not this crazy chit of a penalisation if I imprison or banished or execute him (especially if he revolted and didn't simply give ME dorsum MY titles that "I" fought for and endemic in the kickoff place. (UNgrateful bassturd). ;)

It's kind of empty-headed anyways cause what kind of ability tin he muster to end me from beating him in a revoke war? It'south not like he has the King of the HRE and Byzantine Empire and King of the Horde on his side like I practice. lol Information technology'southward so funny now. I've figured out how to get allies and I have the 3 strongest allies on the map. They literally transport 10000 men each on all my wars and I don't fifty-fifty take to do anything but maybe raise one army but to make a showing of it. I goto ane of my enemies provinces and kickoff sieging and it'south all over after that. lol 30000 men I didn't even have to pay for like mercs vs those of my vassals in a succession war is likewise funny to watch. I just wish this game had more cut away graphics to show the slaughter and devastation. ;)

I did practice it first, thinking '100%, no problem', but when it failed, I reloaded and did information technology again. Once more, no luck. And so the third time I took the screens. If you await at the appointment, y'all see it is autosave-time.

And my count had under 10 intrigue, mediocre stats all beyond the board. No cheats for that.

Thanks for the heads-up on vassal strength.

So definetly a random issues, if reloading 3 times and he escapes.

You can't be that unlucky 3 times and the game doesn't use seed numbers saved, unless ii.2.1 brought over again mechanics we don't know.

Really I believe it does or at least it did with assassinations. Wait a year or two or endeavour and imprison someone else and then imprison him once more.

Games have problems with % chances. If y'all do one 25% action 4 times, in most games you lot won't go information technology to work even though it should corporeality to 100%.

That'south not true. Percentages do not add up, each time y'all press the button, you have a 25% run a risk. If you're unlucky, it may be never.

But almost the problem: It was a brandish bug. Tried to imprison a 0 intrigue courtier (my state intrigue is 21), 100%, failed. And then went back to quondam Iuga and saw 50% take chances now. So I'll file a bug report.

But virtually the problem: It was a display bug. Tried to imprison a 0 intrigue courtier (my land intrigue is 21), 100%, failed. Then went back to old Iuga and saw 50% risk at present. And then I'll file a bug report.

I know they don't add up, but mathematically they're non "real" chances. It'southward complicated to explain.
